Sports help children, not only to be healthy and develop physically and mentally, but also to interact in a healthy way with other children. For children sport is, above all, play and fun while for parents observing their child\u2019s enjoyment, are reassured that physical exercise practiced on a regular basis, can prevent many health issues that manifest themselves in adolescence and adulthood, such as obesity or osteoporosis and help overcome other physical problems like asthma.<\/p>\n Sport plays an important role in the correct development of bones, muscles and cardiovascular fitness. It also has benefits far beyond the tangible. Exercise helps children to have more confidence in themselves, promotes their self-esteem and helps them to interact and relate better with others.<\/p>\n Benefits of Sports To be physically fit is to be emotionally healthy. What\u2019s more, to instill in a child the habit of practicing sports from his\/her early childhood, could possibly prevent problems, such as obesity or a mistaken self-perception, when reaching adolescence.
Children should find and practice a sport that they have a passion for. When choosing a sport for our children, we should keep in mind that motivation is the most important factor, and a child should never be forced to participate in a sport that does not appeal to him\/her.
At first it can be hard, when incorporating in a new class or team for a child to pick up pace and rhythm, but if the child has the support, determination and security of parents, everything will be fine.<\/span><\/p>\n\n
