Playing games with family or friends, or even with adults, such as teachers or caregivers, allows us to get closer to our children. That's why we want to propose thesefun activities to connect with the child.

The more connection we have with the children, the better we will be able to understand them. Thus, these activities are fruitful on a personal, social and pedagogical level.

Having said that, we would like to add that, in addition to connecting more intimately with the children, with these joint activities we also gain in the field of entertainment. Getting the kids out of their routines helps them grow up happier, fuller and more joyful.

For all these reasons, these activities are great alternatives to make the days more dynamic and joyful, all while strengthening our bonds with the children, allowing them to feel more united, but also more secure and protected.

Fun activities to connect with the child

Let's get down to business with these activities that will significantly improve our relationship with the children, help us to make them trust us and, above all, make them feel happy and encouraged.

The family tree game

One way to relate well with the child is for him to know his descendants, his family and his family tree. To do this, we can use cardboard and crayons, markers, pencils or pens. If we have photos that we can cut out, so much the better, but it is not essential.

Next, we will use the cardboard to draw the family tree, from the little one to his siblings, his parents, grandparents, uncles and aunts....

Each branch of the tree will be a family branch. This way, he will know where each member comes from, from the little cousins he plays with to his parents or grandparents, who are sure to give him lots of treats he loves.

If the child is skilled, he/she can draw, create portraits of family members, paste photos of each one, etc. It is up to the individual.

Paper constructions

Who has never built a paper birdie? In this case, we are going to go further, because we are going to make more constructions, as many as we can.

Now, once we have created the boat, the airplane, the bird and everything we can think of, we will proceed to improve the result with drawings, paintings and so on. In this way the small also develops their creative ability and improvement with fine motor skills and also the connection with adults, looking for significant elements for coloring. We can look for as many figures as we want to make on paper. There are numerous tutorials in which to learn to assemble simple and fun structures that involve a game time with the little ones in the house.

Family Bingo

Let's finish with an activity that can give us many hours of fun with the children. Let's think of a family bingo, for example, playing with parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins... With the whole family!

You can play bingo if you already buy the drum, the cards and the necessary tokens. But it's even more fun if you make it at home, in the company of your children. Thus, the activity becomes twofold, and allows for a greater connection and bonding with the little ones.

Playing it is simple. It requires a minimum of a couple of players. One of them will sing the chips that come out. The rest of the players, and also the singer, will mark the numbers that come out in the cardboard that they have to play, which will have X numbers, while in the drum there are usually a hundred, although we can do it as we like and as extensive as we want.
