Children's sports and children's health
Sports help children not only to be healthy and develop physically and mentally, but also to relate in a healthy way with other children. Being fit means being healthy. What's more, if you create in your child the habit of practicing sports from the beginning of his childhood, we may be saving ourselves some problems when he reaches adolescence.
Children should find and practice a sport that they like and are passionate about. The most important thing is that children are motivated to practice a certain sport; they should never be forced to do it. At the beginning it may be difficult to get into the rhythm, but if the child has the support, determination and security of the parents, everything will be fine.
For children, sport is, above all, play and fun. For parents, at the same time that they see their little ones enjoying themselves, they know that physical exercise, practiced regularly, prevents many diseases that manifest themselves in adulthood - such as obesity or osteoporosis - and helps to overcome others that the child may already suffer from - such as asthma.
Sport helps bone and muscle development and provides cardiovascular fitness, but it also has benefits far beyond the tangible. Exercise helps children become more self-confident, boosts their self-esteem and helps them relate better to others.
Through sports, countless values are transmitted, such as solidarity and companionship, and it is the most fun therapy that children can have.

They will cultivate their imagination, creativity, improvisation skills, memorization and concentration while having fun. They will work on their oral expression in English while strengthening their self-esteem, overcoming fears and embarrassments and reinforcing their sense of humor.
JUDO
The main objective of the activity is to introduce them to the sport in a playful way with a good psychomotor development and using judo as a means to achieve this goal. At the end of the course all those students who want to take the corresponding exam to pass the belt level, will be able to opt for it without this being mandatory to continue participating in the activity.
RHYTHMIC GYMNASTICS
They are introduced to physical activity, but above all looking for psychomotor development and using two of the elements of rhythmic as the ball and the hoop. They will not compete in competitions since we start this stage when they are 6 and 7 years old in the rhythmic school that we have from elementary school.
PREDEPORTE
Activity oriented towards team sports working on psychomotor skills, fine motor skills and coordination with different types of materials, especially balls. All this will be developed in a dynamic work environment with a predominance of the game as the ideal way to achieve the objectives set. There will be no competition teams.
ROBOTICS
INITIATION TO TECHNOLOGY, PROGRAMMING AND ROBOTICS
The activity is intended to be the ideal starting point to learn basic notions of computers, electronics and digital skills through fun games that encourage creativity and cooperation.
Resources specially designed for neo-literates are used, which bring them closer to the directional language and programming, while working on psychomotor skills, concentration development and manual skills.
Methodology of work
At the beginning of the class, the group is brought together to explain what activities and learning will take place during the class. Then, they are divided into 3 small groups.
Work is done by corners, which allows several activities to be carried out during the same class, so that the little ones do not lose concentration and motivation for robotics.
In one corner, the main activity of the day is developed, much more directed, and in the others, supervised activities that develop their creativity and learning independence. In these supervised corners, using materials that have already been seen in class, they are encouraged to deepen their knowledge or skills through guides.
CHESS
The motto that we will use in our methodology in this infantile age will be " YOU LEARN BY PLAYING AND YOU PLAY BY LEARNING", from there we will encourage creativity and we will learn the first notions of chess. Chess at this stage stimulates the development of cognitive skills such as attention, memory, reflection and analysis, fundamental abilities in the evolution of the individual.
SOCCER
Some of the benefits of the activity in children. Soccer develops agility, speed and endurance. In addition, by playing soccer, children also learn the importance of the teamwork and the value of individual effort in favor of the group.
Having to move the ball with the feet implies not only the development of eye-foot coordination, but also an important work of balance. This is due to the fact that, during some moments, the body is on one leg. In addition, feints and dribbles involve movements that require a lot of balance to avoid falling during turns.
On a social level, children who play soccer develop the ability to cooperate and interact with other children. In addition, in order to move the ball, it is necessary to know how to communicate. This involves speaking clearly, listening and also developing non-verbal communication skills.
SKATING
The skating activity has a great playful component, a characteristic that makes it very attractive for children at an early age. In addition to this aspect we can highlight other benefits at a physical level.
It contributes to improve physical fitness by increasing aerobic endurance, activating blood circulation, strengthening legs, lungs and heart. It also contributes to develop balance, concentration and coordination.
At a social level, it strengthens personal relationships of help and cooperation, teamwork, group dynamics and group games.
