Speech Therapy Service
Speech therapy is especially effective if started at a very early age since this is when language development begins. Logos Nursery offers the possibility of speech therapy sessions within the school hours of the center.
Together with our Guidance Department, headed by Isabel Ortín, the service is provided by the Child Care Center TÁNDEM, a center of recognized prestige in Las Rozas, and with extensive experience in working with children. During school hours TÁNDEM will work with all those children who request it.
Methodology Speech therapy
The method of work is in individual sessions of 30 minutes. Once the initial assessment of the students has been carried out, it will be stipulated whether they need one or two weekly sessions. The schedule of these sessions will be from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm or from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, depending on the courses, thus not affecting their class schedules.
TÁNDEM professionals will meet with parents in person / virtually on a monthly basis to inform them of their children's progress. In addition, and whenever necessary, they will be available to parents via telephone, email or WhatsApp. Communication with the family is essential to be able to work on many aspects.
