BILINGUAL PROJECT

At Logos Nursery School we create an environment of complete immersion in English, working from day one with the youngest children so that learning a new language comes naturally. Step by step we accompany children towards reading comprehension, when scribbles become letters, letters become sounds, sounds become words, words become stories and stories become books.

MATHEMATICS PROJECT

For the learning of Mathematics, at Logos Nursery School we bet on the Singapore Method. An innovative method where mathematics becomes a fun game and we also give our students strategies for solving problems with situations and games applied to real life, mathematics can be touched and seen, it becomes something real for them. We do not start with numbers but with things that they use every day in their daily lives.

L

PROJECT IPAD

Aware that the new generations are digital natives, we provide the youngest children with electronic elements so that they learn how to handle them from a responsible point of view. Participating in a technological environment such as digital boards in classrooms where children understand technology as a tool for their development and learning.

MUSIC PROJECT

Maintaining the global process required by early childhood education, we will start with music as a transversal and unifying axis, generating learning with the following scheme: we start with a sound quality (bass), we work on auditory discrimination, we learn a song, we listen to classical music (short), we perform a psychomotor representation (dance). In this way we promote development at all levels, physical, mental and emotional.

Music, singing and movement facilitate the way we express ourselves and relate to our environment.

SWIMMING PROJECT

Swimming is one of the most complete sports activities. With this sport we work and exercise muscles, motor coordination and the circulatory and respiratory system. It also contributes to the development of independence and self-confidence of the child. That's why the swimming project is curricular from 2 years onwards, at our school.

For babies, the benefits of swimming are many.
Swimming improves cardiorespiratory abilities, favours postural alignment and benefits muscular coordination, and so developing your sensory and psychomotor abilities.

  • Swimming also helps the very young, without traumas, to begin the process of socialization.
  • Widens the horizon of shared games.
  • Activates a fun and game spirit.
  • Consolidates bonds of affection with relatives.
  • Introduces self-care behavior, converting them into extremely necessary habits.
  • This coexistence will help children to relate better and share activities with other people.

PSYCHOMOTOR PROJECT

With which to learn to master body movement in a healthy way. Its exercises allow the child to explore and investigate, overcome conflict situations, face limitations, relate to others, know their fears, project their fantasies, have their own initiative, assume roles, enjoy teamwork and express themselves in freedom.

ROBOTICS PROJECT

With the initiation to robotics we incorporate our students in the computational initiation, in this way they work another way in the resolution of problems in an orderly sequence of steps. They also acquire basic concepts of programming language.

We develop in a very specific way the basic skills in mathematics, science, technology and digital. Through the methodology we use, meaningful and playful, we also develop social and civic competencies. Our students also acquire a sense of initiative and entrepreneurship.
