Technology and robotics are becoming an ever increasing part of our daily lives. While interacting with modern devices, inside and outside of the home, almost without realizing it, we give instructions, order processes and delegate actions through these devices which unconsciously simplify our tasks.

Technology is incorporated into our classrooms as one more work- tool. Digital whiteboards and IPads help us carry out different projects that appear as part the students' curriculum.

At Logos Nursery we have a designated space, the IPad room, where pupils work using these devices. In the classrooms there are vinyl IPad screens to familiarize pupils with the devices and teach them of their correct use.

We instil in our pupils the pros and cons of new technologies and explain the importance of a responsible use of these devices. Responsibilities such as:  

• Management of the iPad
• Recognition of the scope of its management
• What it means to share data through iPads.
• To share data responsibly
• To think about what and with whom I want to share
• Understand that what you send is out of your control, therefore the data is no longer yours
• To learn to protect your own image
